Foster's, Hurley's, and Kirk Market handle most of the everyday shopping on this island. Between the three you'll find a broad mix of US and UK imports alongside local Caribbean produce, fresh seafood, and Cayman-made products like Cayman Sea Salt, Tortuga rum cakes, and locally roasted coffee, so most familiar brands from home turn up somewhere. Prices run higher than what you're used to, since shipping and import duties get baked into everything.

Most stores sit along the Seven Mile Beach corridor and in George Town. Foster's has locations at the Strand, Camana Bay, and the Republix Plaza near the airport; Hurley's main store is on West Bay Road with a smaller market in Grand Harbour; Kirk Market sits just south of George Town on North Church Street. East End has a Foster's Express, and independent markets fill in for Bodden Town and North Side.

For specialty items, Tortuga Liquor, West Indies Wine Company, and Blackbeard's carry a solid range of wine and spirits. Health food and organic options are fewer but growing, and the Wednesday Farmers' Market at Camana Bay and the Cayman Cabana farm stand are the best bets for local produce, eggs, and artisan goods. A number of supermarkets now deliver through their own platforms or third-party apps, a help if you're stocking a vacation rental.

Shopping hours run Monday through Saturday for the most part, with limited Sunday hours at the larger stores. US dollars work everywhere; change comes back in CI dollars. Bring your own bags, since the island has moved to cut down on single-use plastic and a plastic bag now costs extra.
